The Leadership Kansas Program
Educating & Motivating Kansas Leaders For Over A Quarter Century!

Leadership Kansas, a leadership growth program of The Kansas Chamber of Commerce, is for current and future Kansas leaders. Leadership Kansas offers first-hand exposure to the critical issues facing Kansas business and government.

The program offers personal and professional growth opportunities for selected participants. Leadership Kansas is a non-profit leadership growth program funded by tuition and fees and sponsored by The Kansas Chamber of Commerce.

The Leadership Kansas Program:

  • Informs leaders about the challenges and opportunities facing business and our state to encourage solutions and collaboration
  • Inspires leaders to become active in business, organization, community, and statewide efforts to make Kansas the best place in America to do business and live
  • Challenges leaders to increase awareness of themselves and Kansas to maximize their leadership potential
  • Provides an opportunity to network with a diversity of individuals to strengthen personal and organizational influence

Leadership Kansas benefits are as diverse as the participants. Graduates gain enhanced communication skills, creativity, exposure to future business trends, and expanding their thought processes. Leadership Kansas 2009 Class graduates will have:

Successful applicants are individuals with track records of success in business and community. Leadership Kansas seeks diverse applicants open to new ideas and viewpoints with a desire to strengthen their state, communities, and employers. Class members are selected based on leadership contributions in their professions and communities and their willingness to contribute to Kansas' future progress. Participation is open to all citizens of the state.
