Leadership Kansas Class To Visit Wichita June 24-26.

June 19, 2009 – The Wichita metropolitan area will host the 2009 Leadership Kansas class on June 24-26.

April 15, 2009 — The Kansas Chamber is pleased to announce the members of the 2009 Leadership Kansas class.  Leadership Kansas is a nationally recognized program that aims to develop and motivate future leaders in the state.  

Leadership Kansas Class Visits Hays August 21-23
August 20, 2008 – The Hays area will host the 2008 Leadership Kansas class on August 21-23. The 41 members of the class will begin their training session in Ellis County with a tour of the “Cathedral of the Plains,” St. Fidelis Catholic Church, the Massacred Railroad Workers and English Cemeteries on Thursday afternoon.

Leadership Kansas Class Visits the Kansas City Metro June 25-27
June 25, 2008 – The Kansas City Metropolitan area will serve host to the 2008 Leadership Kansas class on June 25-27.  The 41 members of the class, including 11 from the KC Metro area, will begin their training session with a reception and tour at the Nerman Museum of Contemporary Art at the Johnson County Community College on Wednesday evening.

Leadership Kansas Class Visits Garden City May 29-31
May 28, 2008 – The 41 members of the 2008 Leadership Kansas class will converge on Garden City on May 29-31 as part of the program’s training sessions which are conducted in every region in Kansas.

October 30, 2007 – Leadership Kansas, a leadership growth program of The Kansas Chamber of Commerce, celebrated the graduation of 40 emerging state leaders from its 29th class on Friday.  

Leadership Kansas Names Alumna of the Year
May 30, 2007 – Kansas Insurance Commissioner Sandy Praeger is the Leadership Kansas 2007 Alumna of the Year. The award is presented annually to deserving Leadership Kansas distinguished alumni with achievements in the social, business and political fabric of Kansas.
